Our new and exciting Christmas festival featuring street food and live music is once again coming to Bournville.
This year's Bournville Village Christmas Festival, on and around Bournville Village Green, will take place on Saturday 1st December from 12 – 5pm, with the Bournville Christmas Tree Light Switch-On taking place at 5pm.
It will begin at 12pm with the arrival of Father Christmas on his sleigh followed by an official opening by special guest Duncan Cadbury.
There will be lots of special attractions and activities, including tours and performances of the Carillon, street food, a Santa’s Grotto and performances from local choirs and musical groups.
The shops by the Village Green will also be promoting their seasonal gifts.
Bournville Village Council will be overseeing the traditional lights switch-on at 5pm.
Organisations including Bournville Village Trust, Bournville Village Council, Busy Parents Network, the Carillon, Rowheath Pavilion, Selly Manor Museum and St Francis Church have come together to put on the special event.
