Each year on the first Tuesday evening in December, the Bournville Village Council organises the popular Bournville Christmas Tree Lights Switch-On event.
The fabulous Christmas tree lights are switch on at precisely 7pm. Father Christmas joins us on his sleigh for the fun and usually meets over 400 young excited children waiting patiently to speak to him. Each child is given a wrapped selection box as a small gift from Father Christmas.
Would you make a small donation towards the cost of this exciting Christmas event?
Jazz on the Green is a free event organised by the Bournville Village Council each summer as part of the city wide jazz festival.
It takes place outside on the Bournville Green and the large numbers of people bringing chairs and blankets and a picnic help create a popular festival atmosphere.
It costs about £1000 a year to organise and book the various acts that we have playing.
Could you make some small donation towards the annual cost of this great Bournville event?
